eBay Motors Rip-Off

I have been defrauded or exploited by eBay Motors or its members more than once over the years. But it’s my most recent experience that’s caused the most harm and frustration… Do read on, this is a nightmare story you’ll want to avoid for certain!

eBay Scam, eBay Fraud, eBay Rip-Off, eBay RipoffI have been the proud owner of a BMW 540i for 3 years, and the ultimate driving machine has been exactly that, until my “driving” got the best of the car… You see, when I bought the Bimmer, I planned to log more miles sideways then straight, drifting the road beast “Top Gear” style.

Boy oh boy did we ever have a ton of fun with this car!

So when my wriding style caused for the drive shaft to bend a little, or a lot, I knew it was time to say goodbye to our beloved Bimmer… The first place I tried to sell the car was eBay Motors. I set a modest reserve and trusted the auction giant to help me sell the car. HUGE MISTAKE!

After 3 consecutive auctions, and 3 illegitimate eBay buyers, I’m sad to report eBay Motors has turned out to be the worst selling experience I’ve had – EVER!

Why?

Here’s the email message I received from the last buyer who won the eBay Motors auction just this past weekend…

“hi, I am international bidder, I will pay the total due with a bank wire transfer, So, Please send me your back account ( bank name, account name, account #, Routing # and the SWIFT code for the bank ) to send you the money) thanks”

I praise God I’m an educated online dealer, otherwise I’d be crying all the way to the bank…. Whatever you do, DO NOT TRUST YOUR CAR OR OTHER VALUABLE PROPERTY TO EBAY, as they are setup to protect BUYERS, not SELLERS.

Thus far, trying to sell my BMW on eBay has cost me over 15 hours, and frustration beyond words. The worst part of this experience is, I still have the car and now, I hate eBay.
